Job Description
Construction Estimator (0-5 years) On‑Site - Englewood, CO A family‑oriented commercial construction and development group is seeking a Construction Estimator to support ground‑up builds, renovations, and tenant improvement projects. Candidates with 0-5 years of experience, including entry‑level, are welcome to apply. This is a fully on‑site role focused on collaboration, integrity, and hands‑on learning. Role Overview The Estimator supports quantity takeoffs, pricing, bid preparation, and construction document review. You'll work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and leadership in a culture grounded in honesty, teamwork, and proactive problem‑solving. Key Responsibilities Quantity Takeoffs — Support material counts, measurements, and scope breakdowns for commercial projects. Bid Preparation — Assist with hard‑bid and negotiated proposals, gather subcontractor pricing, and organize bid documents. Plan Reading — Review drawings and specifications to understand scope, trades, and project requirements. Subcontractor Outreach — Request quotes, track responses, and help evaluate proposals. Team Collaboration — Work closely with internal teams to support estimating and project handoff. Software Use — Use Excel‑based templates, Bluebeam, BuildingConnected, and On‑Screen Takeoff (OST). Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, or related field preferred. 0-5 years of experience (Internship, co‑op, or previous estimating experience) Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications. Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn. Interest in commercial construction and how buildings come together. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $140000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability coverage (effective the month following hire) 401(k) with up to 4% company match PTO starts at 10 days and increases with tenure (up to 31 days) 9 paid holidays
