Electrical Construction About the Opportunity A well-established and growing electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to work on a diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial electrical projects. Responsibilities Prepare accurate and competitive electrical estimates for commercial and industrial construction projects. Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements. Perform quantity takeoffs and develop labor, material, and equipment cost estimates. Solicit and analyze vendor and subcontractor pricing. Collaborate with project managers, field personnel, and leadership throughout the bidding process. Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions. Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Participate in bid reviews, project handoffs, and pre-construction meetings. Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of electrical estimating experience. Strong understanding of commercial and industrial electrical construction practices. Experience estimating projects valued up to $8 million. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
