Job Description
Job Summary A well-established heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager / Estimator to join a growing construction team in Windsor, CO. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented construction professional who can manage both estimating and project execution for heavy civil projects, including earthwork, grading, underground utilities, roadway construction, and site development. This role offers the opportunity to work in a stable, team-focused environment where strong leadership, accountability, and collaboration are valued. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing competitive bids, managing project budgets and schedules, coordinating with clients and field teams, and helping ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, bid proposals, budgets, schedules, and cost projections for heavy civil construction projects.
- Review plans, specifications, bid documents, and contract requirements to develop accurate and competitive proposals.
- Solicit, compare, and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing to support project bids and budgets.
- Manage projects from award through completion, including cost tracking, scheduling, productivity, documentation, and financial performance.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, project meetings, site visits, and compliance requirements. Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $85,000 to $125,000 per year.
