Full Job Description Experienced Junior Electrical Estimator:

We are a Bethel based company with over 35+ years' experience, looking to hire a junior electrical estimator (specifically able to take off service work/gear) to determine the approximate takeoffs of various electrical installation for commercial, residential and industrials projects. Salary dependent upon experience. Health insurance, 401K and paid vacation offered.

Requirements :

Detail oriented and have sound knowledge of electrical codes. Adept at reading building plans and demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills. Valid electrician's license. Excellent organizational skills. Effective communication skills. Must have plan take-off experience.

Responsibilities :

Analyzing blueprints to determine electrical installation cost based on current NEC. Determining the amount, type, and cost of materials and fixtures needed for each project. Determining the amount of labor required to complete each project. Determining the potential profitability of electrical projects to assist management in making sound bidding decisions. Providing viable solutions to increase project profitability. Completing and submitting project bids in accordance with established guidelines. Regularly updating cost databases to accurately reflect fluctuation material and labor costs. Must be able to execute timely and accurate take-offs.
