Position:
Commercial Painting Estimator We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Commercial Painting Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong estimating and analytical skills, a solid understanding of commercial painting and construction, and the ability to develop accurate and competitive project estimates. The Commercial Painting Estimator will play a critical role in our business development and project acquisition efforts by evaluating project plans and specifications, performing quantity takeoffs, developing detailed estimates, and working closely with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure accurate and profitable bids. Key Responsibilities Review architectural plans, specifications, and project documents to determine project scope and requirements. Perform detailed material and labor quantity takeoffs for commercial painting projects. Prepare accurate, competitive, and profitable estimates and proposals. Obtain and evaluate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors. Identify project risks, exclusions, assumptions, and potential cost impacts. Communicate with customers, general contractors, and vendors to clarify project requirements. Conduct site visits and field measurements as needed. Develop detailed estimates for labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other project-related costs. Prepare professional proposals and bid submissions. Track and manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously. Collaborate with Project Managers and Operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to project execution. Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, pricing, and historical project data. Follow up on submitted proposals and assist with business development efforts. Continuously evaluate estimating practices and identify opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency. Represent The Company professionally and uphold the company's reputation for quality and customer service. Live and demonstrate The Companies core values in every interaction. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in commercial painting, construction estimating, or a related field preferred. Strong understanding of commercial painting processes, materials, and labor requirements. Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, specifications, and construction documents. Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with estimating software or construction management software is a plus. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. A strong commitment to customer satisfaction, quality, and doing the job right. Pay:
