Commercial Drywall EstimatorPosition Summary The Commercial Drywall Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for commercial drywall, metal framing, insulation, acoustical ceilings, and related interior construction projects. This position works closely with general contractors, project managers, vendors, and field personnel to develop complete, profitable bids while maintaining strong customer relationships. QualificationsExperience Minimum of 5-10 years of commercial drywall estimating experience. Experience estimating commercial interior construction projects including offices, healthcare, education, retail, hospitality, and multifamily projects. Proven ability to prepare accurate, competitive estimates and meet bid deadlines. Education Associate's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered.

Analyze plans, specifications, addenda, and bid documents. Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for drywall, framing, insulation, acoustical ceilings, and related scopes of work. Solicit and evaluate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors. Prepare accurate, competitive, and profitable estimates. Conduct site visits as required to verify existing conditions. Prepare complete bid proposals, scopes of work, and supporting documentation. Submit bids accurately and on schedule. Participate in post-bid discussions and negotiations. Assist in transitioning awarded projects to the project management team. Track estimated versus actual project costs to improve future estimating accuracy. Maintain estimating databases and current pricing information. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, general contractors, vendors, and subcontractors. Stay informed on industry trends, material pricing, labor productivity, and construction best practices.
