Planner Estimator IIDirect Hire | Apollo Beach, FL | OnsiteSirius Staffing is seeking an experienced Planner Estimator II to support maintenance, outage, and capital project planning at a major power generation facility in Apollo Beach, Florida. This is a direct hire opportunity supporting critical power generation assets with travel between Big Bend, Bayside, and Polk Power Stations.

Full-TimeMonday-Friday8-hour shiftsOvertime opportunities availablePosition SummaryThe Planner Estimator II is responsible for coordinating, planning, estimating, and scheduling contractor work for maintenance, outage, and capital projects within a power generation environment. This role partners closely with construction supervisors, contractors, and plant personnel to develop complete work packages, maintain project schedules, control costs, and ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company procedures.

ResponsibilitiesScope, plan, estimate, and coordinate contractor work for maintenance, outage, and capital projects.

Develop complete work packages, including maintenance procedures, permits, job aids, PM documentation, safe work practices, and environmental requirements.

Monitor and maintain Primavera P6 schedules for outages, maintenance activities, and capital projects.

Coordinate project schedules with construction supervisors, contractors, and plant personnel while communicating schedule updates and resolving conflicts.

Track project progress, budgets, productivity, and KPI metrics.

Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, minimize schedule delays, and reduce overtime.

Review contractor proposals and assist in developing project cost estimates.

Review and approve contractor invoices as authorized.

Ensure completed work orders are properly closed and follow-up actions are completed.

Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning, scheduling, and contractor performance.

Promote a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with company procedures and environmental requirements.

QualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of six (6) years of maintenance planning, scheduling, estimating, or work management experience in a power plant or heavy industrial facility, or two (2) years of experience as a Planner Estimator I.Experience coordinating maintenance activities, outages, or capital projects.

Knowledge of maintenance work management systems.

Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

PreferredCollege degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.

Experience developing maintenance work packages.

Primavera P6 scheduling experience.

Microsoft Project experience.

Understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling.

Hands-on industrial maintenance background such as Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (I&C), Millwright, Pipefitter, or similar skilled trades.

Work EnvironmentOnsite position based at Big Bend Power Station in Apollo Beach, FL.Travel between Big Bend, Bayside, and Polk Power Stations as business needs require.
