Responsibilities Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial flooring projects. Review plans, specifications, addenda, and bid documents. Perform quantity takeoffs and solicit pricing from vendors and subcontractors. Manage awarded projects from turnover through closeout. Coordinate material procurement, scheduling, labor, and subcontractors. Maintain project budgets, schedules, and documentation. Work closely with general contractors, owners, architects, installers, and suppliers to ensure successful project execution. Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, closeout documents, and project billing. Proactively identify and resolve project challenges while maintaining strong customer relationships. Collaborate with sales and operations to ensure a seamless transition from estimating to project execution. Qualifications 5+ years of commercial flooring estimating and/or project management experience required. Strong understanding of commercial flooring products, installation methods, specifications, and construction practices. Experience reviewing architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents. Ability to perform accurate quantity takeoffs and prepare competitive project estimates. Proven experience managing commercial flooring projects from award through completion. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with estimating software, Microsoft Office, and project management systems. Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining long-term client relationships.
