Countertop Project Manager / Estimator Angelina Granite & Marble - Bradenton, FL Full-Time Angelina Granite & Marble is looking for an experienced Countertop Project Manager / Estimator who can manage projects from initial plans and takeoffs through template, layout, fabrication, installation, and completion. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone with direct experience in the countertop, stone fabrication, cabinet, construction, or closely related industry who understands measurements, layouts, plan reading, material requirements, and project coordination. What You'll Handle You will serve as a primary point of contact for our builders, contractors, designers, and other business-to-business accounts , coordinating their projects from beginning to end.
Responsibilities include:
Reading architectural plans, cabinet drawings, and countertop plans Completing countertop takeoffs and measurements Calculating square footage, material needs, backsplash, waterfalls, edge work, cutouts, and other project requirements Reviewing field/template measurements for accuracy Understanding countertop layouts, slab usage, seams, and material optimization Coordinating template, layout approval, material ordering, fabrication, and installation Reviewing layouts and communicating required approvals with customers and contractors Managing multiple active projects and keeping each project moving through production Communicating with builders, contractors, designers, suppliers, customers, field crews, and our fabrication team Identifying missing information or project conflicts before they cause production or installation delays Tracking project changes and ensuring pricing/change orders are addressed Coordinating job schedules and deadlines Maintaining accurate job documentation, notes, drawings, measurements, and communication Following projects through installation, punch/service items, and final completion The Person We're Looking For The right candidate is someone who can look at a set of plans or project information and understand what needs to happen next without being walked through every step. Strong candidates will have experience with: Countertop fabrication and installation Stone, quartz, granite, quartzite, or porcelain projects Countertop estimating and takeoffs Reading construction and cabinet plans Measurements and dimensional drawings Slab layouts and seam placement Material calculations and slab requirements Builder and contractor accounts Project scheduling and coordination Managing multiple projects simultaneously Experience with countertop estimating or layout software such as Moraware/CounterGo or similar programs is a major plus. You won't simply be entering information—you'll be managing the project and making sure all of the pieces come together correctly. Experience Countertop industry experience is strongly preferred. Candidates with extensive experience in stone fabrication, cabinets, construction estimating, architectural takeoffs, or a similar project-management environment may also be considered.
