Full Job Description Fire Sprinkler Sales Estimator:
We are seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Sales Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive bids and help secure installation and renovation projects throughout South Florida. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on knowledge of fire sprinkler systems who can manage multiple bids and deadlines while communicating confidently with general contractors, customers, and internal teams. You will work closely with design, project management, and field teams from the initial estimate through the successful handoff of awarded projects. What You'll Do Review construction plans, specifications, addenda, and bid invitations. Perform accurate material and labor take-offs for fire sprinkler installation and renovation projects. Obtain pricing from suppliers and subcontractors and incorporate costs into estimates. Prepare professional proposals outlining project scope, exclusions, qualifications, and pricing. Review bid documents carefully, identify missing information, and submit questions when clarification is needed. Follow up with customers and general contractors, respond to questions, and support efforts to win awarded projects. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and industry contacts. Identify new bidding opportunities and support business development efforts. Maintain organized records of bids, pricing, project details, and customer information. Coordinate with operations and project management teams to ensure a smooth handoff after a project is awarded. What We're Looking For Previous experience estimating fire sprinkler installation or renovation projects . Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and related project documents. Solid knowledge of fire sprinkler materials, systems, and installation methods. Strong communication, customer service, and follow-up skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple estimates, projects, and deadlines. Comfortable working with estimating software, spreadsheets, and other business applications. Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, competitive estimates. Preferred Experience Experience with fire pumps, underground fire lines, standpipes, tenant improvements, retrofit projects, or commercial fire protection systems is a plus. A college degree is not required . Relevant fire sprinkler, estimating, construction, or industry experience is more important.
