Job Description
WCI's Construction Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial and/or residential construction projects. This role analyzes project plans and specifications, collaborates with subcontractors and suppliers, and supports project teams throughout the bidding and preconstruction phases.

Accuracy driven Awareness in time management Financial acumen Strong communication and collaborative skills Key Responsibilities Review project drawings, specifications, and related documents to determine scope of work Assist in preparing detailed project cost estimates and bid proposals Assist in subcontractor prequalification processes Develop and maintain qualified subcontractor bid invitation lists Solicit, obtain, and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids Perform quantity take-offs and obtain material pricing Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options Participate in pre-proposal meetings and prepare RFIs Evaluate project plans and specifications for constructability Help prepare, organize, and coordinate Request for Proposal (RFP) documents Maintain historical cost data and perform document archiving Communicate regularly with management, subcontractors, clients, and internal teams Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings -as requiredQualifications:
3+ years of estimating experience in commercial and/or residential construction Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Excellent communication and negotiation abilities Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Bid Management, Planhub or similar) Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skillsPreferred:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred) Experience with Federal or USACE projects Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary Health benefits, PTO, and holidaysJob Expectations:
