Prepare detailed project cost estimates, including conceptual, preliminary, and definitive estimates.

Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to gather and analyze project specifications.

Perform value engineering analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Develop and maintain estimation tools and databases.

Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans.

Present cost estimates and value engineering options to stakeholders.

Mentor junior estimators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.

Track project costs and variances, updating estimates as necessary.

Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in project estimating.

Experience in utility-scale energy projects.

Proficiency in value engineering principles.

Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferences

Master's or Post-Graduate Degree in a related field.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in project estimating.

Certified Estimating Professional (CEP) or Certified Cost Professional (CCP).

Experience with cost estimation software and tools.

Familiarity with project management software like MS Project or Primavera P6.
