Collaborate with project managers, engineers, schedulers, and field staff to validate assumptions, identify risks, and refine estimates.
Perform value engineering and constructability reviews to present cost-saving alternatives without compromising scope or quality.
Maintain and update historical cost databases, unit price lists, and bid logs to improve estimate accuracy and consistency.
Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client presentations to gather information and represent the estimating group.
Prepare risk assessments and recommend appropriate contingencies and allowances for bids.
Support post-bid activities, including bid reconciliations, change order pricing, and lessons-learned documentation.
Demonstrated proficiency with HCSS estimating software and AGTEK earthwork/takeoff tools; strong computer literacy.
Proven ability to perform accurate quantity takeoffs and develop unit-rate estimates for sitework and heavy civil scopes.
Familiarity with commercial project delivery methods, contract types, and common specifications.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple estimates to deadline.

3+ years of commercial sitework and underground utility estimating experience in the greater Central Florida area.Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to produce accurate, competitive cost estimates for commercial civil and sitework projects, including grading, utilities, and water infrastructure. The Estimator will lead takeoffs, develop bids using HCSS and AGTEK when applicable, collaborate with project managers and subcontractors, and support preconstruction and value-engineering efforts to win profitable work.Key Responsibilities:

Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.3+ years of estimating experience in commercial civil/sitework construction, including grading, utilities, and water-related projects.Demonstrated proficiency with HCSS estimating software and AGTEK earthwork/takeoff tools; strong computer literacy.
