Description:
You will take full ownership of the estimating department, driving the growth and profitability of multi-million-dollar commercial projects. This role gives you the leadership autonomy to build bids from the ground up while actively shaping the commercial pipeline. You will join a collaborative environment where every team member shares directly in project success and company operations.

How You Will Make an ImpactBuild accurate estimates and budgets for multi-million-dollar retail and grocery projects without fully developed documents.

Lead and manage the overall operations of the estimating department with supporting team members.

Source potential and future commercial work by actively monitoring industry project boards.

Prepare comprehensive proposals in strict accordance with Instructions to Bidders documents.

Maintain complete bidding schedules, solicit qualified bidders, and establish detailed cost comparisons.

Execute both hard bid and negotiated estimating strategies to secure profitable commercial contracts.

Required Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience.

Proven background as a Commercial Estimator specifically within retail and grocery construction.

Demonstrated experience preparing budgets for both ground-up builds and renovation projects.

Strong track record of successfully executing both hard bid and negotiated estimating processes.

Self-starter mindset with the ability to manage an estimating department independently.

Strong Microsoft Office skills.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience10+ years of related work experience in commercial construction estimating.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Building Science, or a related field.
