Indian Rocks Beach Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our growing 2 doctor veterinarian team in Largo, FL — just minutes from the white sand and turquoise water of the Gulf Coast. If you're an established DVM looking for a change of scenery (literally), a supportive team, and a caseload that keeps you sharp without burning you out, keep reading. Why Indian Rocks Beach? Nearly 3 miles of walkable Gulf Coast beach , with 27 public beach access points, soft sand, and some of the best sunsets in Florida — most nights end with the sky doing something ridiculous over the water. A golf-cart, bike, and flip-flop kind of town. The beach sand is firm enough for cycling, and it's the kind of place where you'll actually run into your clients (and their pets) at the coffee shop. Actual wildlife commutes. The Indian Rocks Beach Nature Preserve has a boardwalk through mangrove wetlands with intracoastal views — and yes, there's a dog park. The nearby "Turtle Park" has turtle ponds, birds of prey, and shaded trails if you need a decompress-after-a-tough-appointment walk. 100 acres of free botanical bliss at the Florida Botanical Gardens in Largo, right next door, plus historic Heritage Village if you're into old Florida charm. Water, water everywhere. Kayaking, paddleboarding, deep-sea fishing charters, dolphin-watching tours, and John's Pass are all a short drive away. Centrally located for more exploring.
