Please note:

This is a specialty estimating role. Relevant estimating experience in painting, waterproofing, resinous flooring, and/or fireproofing is required. What You'll Do As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in developing accurate, competitive bids and ensuring project success from preconstruction through turnover. Responsibilities Perform precise quantity takeoffs using On-Screen Takeoff (OST) and/or On-Center software Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents for scope accuracy Prepare pricing sheets and detailed bid proposals Verify scales, measurements, and estimate accuracy Identify scope gaps, discrepancies, and risk factors Communicate directly with general contractors, owners, vendors, and clients to clarify project requirements Solicit and evaluate vendor pricing Collaborating with project managers during project turnover and budgeting Track and quantify change orders and cost impacts Maintain organized bid files and estimate documentation Support project cost management when needed Stay current on material pricing trends, labor costs, and industry best practices What We're Looking For Required Experience & Skills 3-5+ years of estimating experience in specialty coatings, painting, waterproofing, resinous flooring, fireproofing, or related commercial construction trades Strong proficiency with OST and/or On-Center Takeoff software Solid understanding of commercial construction documents and specifications Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications 5-7+ years estimating commercial or industrial specialty contracting projects Experience with project cost tracking and change order management Knowledge of specialty coating systems and application methods Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred, not required) Why Join Percopo?
