Job Description:
You will be the Cost Estimator Sr for the Ocala Operations Cost Estimation team. Our team is responsible for delivering precise, data‑driven cost and schedule insights that enable successful missile program delivery. What You Will Be Doing As a Cost Estimator Sr you will be responsible for turning engineering and manufacturing data into accurate cost models and pricing packages. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Review RFPs, bills of material, specifications, and schedules; coordinate inputs from engineering, manufacturing, subcontractors, and vendors. Analyze historical trend data, labor rates, overhead, and other variables to develop accurate cost estimates for new designs, modifications, and production runs. Build and maintain detailed cost models and Basis of Estimates (BOE) for labor, material, ODC, travel, and non‑recurring effort. Generate comprehensive cost reports and pricing packages, highlighting cost‑saving opportunities. Present final cost estimates, BOEs, and proposal outcomes to senior leadership and customers, including travel for contract negotiations. Bachelor's degree or above from accredited school Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills Ability to work independently on multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong financial/analytical/technical skills Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel Familiarity with learning curve theory and application Must have the ability to obtain a security clearance.Desired Skills:
Experience coordinating complex proposal estimates with changing requirements High attention to detail and ability to summarize large volume of complex data to influence executive decision making Experience using proposal estimating or pricing systems such as:EFS, BOE

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules:
