Electrical Estimator

Electrical Estimator Electraserve, Inc. is seeking an electrical estimator with at least 5 years of experience on commercial construction projects utilizing Accubid. The electrical estimator will create Change Order estimates for commercial projects. The electrical estimator will work closely with the local leadership team. This individual will be responsible for the following: Interaction with the trade partner (contractor and subcontractor) communities Management of design/build or design-assist trade partners. Coordination with key equipment suppliers / vendors. Preparation and analysis of long lead equipment procurement (scoping, leveling & development of purchase orders to vendors) Presentation of estimates/change events/RFQ Preparation and analysis (scoping) of electrical & low voltage bid packages, including final trade partner procurement. Managing Change order paperwork for existing projects Constructability reviews of the electrical and low voltage scopes. Qualifications We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, to be engaged with multiple project teams, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines.

The successful candidate will possess:

Excellent listening skills and strong communication skills. Ability to identify and resolve complex issues. Effective participation in a team environment. Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of Accubid, BlueBeam, Procore and On-Screen Take off. 5+ years of experience as a commercial construction electrical estimator on projects varying from $500,000 through $15m Bachelor's degree a plus but not required. A strong work ethic and a "can-do," solution-oriented attitude. This position is salaried.
