Project Manager/Estimator Shaffer Services - Shaffer's Developers General Construction Inc / Shaffer's Electrical Contracting is in Sanford, Florida, about twenty-five miles north of Orlando. The Company is seeking a full-time Estimator / Project Manager to oversee general construction projects with emphasis on estimating various installations in a commercial setting.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Estimating/bid for general construction projects. Oversee all aspects of projects from planning to implementation. Interface with customers, project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city, and county officials. Negotiate with customers to receive reasonable order costs. Allocate resources for assigned projects. Supervise, direct, and lead the work of field staff. Ensure deadlines and cost targets are met. Maintain required project documentation and updates. Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications. Perform tasks as assigned by management. Qualifications for

Success:

Must have experience, be well-versed, and proficient with Buildertrend construction software. 5-7 years' experience in estimating and construction project management. Experience in estimating software in Bluebeam preferred. Determine the amount of labor required to complete each project, type and cost of materials, and fixtures needed for projects. Determine the potential profitability of projects in making sound bidding decisions. Analyzing blueprints to determine how long each contracting job will last. Strong analysis, critical thinking, negotiation, and communication skills. Deadline and detailed oriented. Sound knowledge of NEC code a plus. Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must be able to travel in and outside of Florida. Must have a valid and insurable driver's license to operate a company vehicle.

Pay Range:

$75,000 - $90,000 annually.
