Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs and preparing detailed estimates to support our construction or manufacturing operations. This role requires proficiency with estimating software and the ability to utilize Metal Building Software to obtain precise pricing. The Estimator will play a critical role in ensuring projects are financially viable and aligned with client expectations, contributing to the overall success of our organization. Responsibilities Review project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to understand scope and requirements. Utilize estimating software to develop comprehensive cost estimates for projects. Run Metal Building Software to obtain accurate pricing information for materials, labor, and other project components. Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather necessary data and clarify project details. Prepare detailed bid proposals and cost breakdowns for review by management. Analyze market trends and pricing fluctuations to ensure estimates remain competitive and realistic. Maintain organized records of estimates, assumptions, and supporting documentation for future reference. Assist in the review of project budgets and provide input during project planning phases. Experience Proven experience in estimating within the construction or manufacturing industry preferred. Proficiency with estimating software is essential; experience with Metal Building Software is highly desirable. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation effectively. Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and external partners. Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 - 40.0 per week
