Your Day-to-Day:

Prepare electrical cost estimates to support bidding and pricing Analyze blueprints and documents to estimate time, cost, materials, and labor Review contract documents to define scope and estimate requirements Calculate complete takeoffs for discipline-specific estimates Request and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes Deliver accurate estimates on time for review and revision Maintain detailed files of estimate backup and supplier pricing Review design options and recommend cost-effective, quality solutions Perform other duties as assigned What You'll Bring to the

Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school 7-10 years of estimating experience, preferably in mission critical electrical construction Knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and computerized cost data interpretation Familiarity with Accubid Anywhere and LiveCount preferred but not required Strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines professionally and timely Excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional and courteous Skilled multitasker—can manage multiple screens and phone conversations simultaneously Proficient in creating, editing, and analyzing Excel, Word, PDF, and PowerPoint documents
