You need to understand how commercial roofing systems actually go together , read plans and specifications, catch the details other people miss, understand labor and material costs, and put together a number that can win the job without giving away the profit. Archline is looking for an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our growing team in Augusta. We're looking for someone with 2-5 years of relevant experience and a genuine commercial roofing background who is ready to take ownership of estimates, work collaboratively with our team and help us pursue profitable commercial projects. What You'll Be Doing As our Commercial Roofing Estimator, you'll help take opportunities from plans and specifications to complete, competitive bids.

You'll:

Review commercial roofing plans, drawings and specifications Perform detailed quantity takeoffs Review ITBs, RFPs and project requirements Determine project scope and identify potential challenges Solicit and review supplier and subcontractor pricing Analyze material, labor, equipment and subcontractor costs Develop accurate project estimates and preliminary budgets Prepare complete bid packages and proposals Review estimates for accuracy, completeness and profitability Identify exclusions, clarifications and potential scope gaps Assist with value engineering when appropriate Maintain accurate estimating documentation and records Work closely with leadership, project management and field teams Help ensure a smooth handoff from estimating to production Track relevant project and estimating information within company systems You'll have support—but you'll also be expected to know your craft and own your numbers. Commercial Roofing Experience Matters. For this position, we're specifically looking for someone who understands commercial roofing . You don't necessarily need to have spent your entire career behind an estimating desk. We'd consider someone who has built relevant estimating experience through commercial roofing project management, coordination or another technical role. But you do need to understand commercial roofing systems, terminology, materials and construction. We're generally looking for: 2-5 years of relevant commercial roofing/estimating experience Experience performing takeoffs and developing estimates Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications Understanding of commercial roofing systems and materials Strong mathematical and analytical skills Comfort working with estimating and construction software Ability to communicate with vendors, subcontractors and internal teams Strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously Sound judgment and problem-solving ability We're an EOS Company Archline operates using the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) .
