Estimator
  • Job Description The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and timely cost estimates for custom steel fabrication projects. This role reviews drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to develop competitive pricing that supports profitable project execution. Key Responsibilities
  • Review customer drawings, specifications, and RFQs to develop detailed cost estimates
  • Calculate material, labor, and subcontract costs for custom fabrication projects
  • Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, and production teams to validate assumptions
  • Identify risks, clarifications, and exclusions within estimates
  • Maintain estimating data, pricing history, and supporting documentation Qualifications
  • Experience in estimating for steel or metal fabrication projects
  • Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications
  • Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills
