Full-time About the Role Ruby-Collins is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Estimator to support bidding and preconstruction activities for pipeline construction projects. Working alongside experienced estimators and project managers, you will help review plans, develop quantity takeoffs, obtain pricing, and prepare competitive cost estimates. This is an opportunity for someone early in their construction career to build estimating skills and gain practical knowledge of pipeline installation, excavation, and related site work. Key Responsibilities Review project drawings, specifications, bid documents, and addenda to understand scope and requirements. Perform quantity takeoffs for pipe, fittings, valves, excavation, bedding, backfill, surface restoration, and related work. Assist in estimating labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor costs, and project indirect costs. Request and organize supplier and subcontractor quotes, comparing pricing, scope coverage, and exclusions. Support estimates for activities such as trenching, shoring, dewatering, pipe installation, testing, and restoration. Help prepare bid worksheets, proposals, scope clarifications, and bid submission packages. Participate in site visits and pre-bid meetings as needed. Identify missing information and assist in preparing requests for clarification. Maintain organized estimating records, pricing databases, and bid documentation. Assist with project handoffs and review actual job costs to support future estimates. Qualifications 2 years of experience in construction estimating, project coordination, or a related construction role. Pay:
