Job Description

Responsibilities Create Fire Protection layouts, estimates, and material lists Estimate total cost of materials, labor, and misc Communicate with customers as needed to clarify to completion Create and deliver proposals in a timely fashion that meets or exceeds expectations Communicate with other departments to optimize design efficiency for fabrication and installation of systems Maintain documents for Design and Project Management Interpret customer supplied drawings and develop layouts Mostly quiet office environment with moderate noise with computers, printers, and light traffic Office expectations to work well with other colleagues, and carry out all tasks in a professional manner and effectively communicate with both internal and external parties Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds, stooping, bending, reaching, and stretching occur daily Professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment Qualifications
FIRE SPRINKLER SALES/ESTIMATOR - FIRE SPRINKLER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
As part of a professional and highly experienced team, you will be mentored in best practices and become knowledgeable of NFPA and life safety code requirements Fire Sprinkler experience Microsoft Office skills, Outlook, Word, Excel for calculations and organization Able to read engineer/design, architectural, and structural blueprints Fundamental understanding of general construction methods, practices, and terminology Strong mechanical aptitude Skilled time management with ability to prioritize tasks and consistently complete projects accurately Work with minimal supervision, follow instructions, show attention to detail, and demonstrate problem-solving skills Good communication skills, both oral and written Be proactive with enthusiasm and determination to improve yourself, the process and business where possible Ensure quality assurance of completed work prior to sharing with managers Self-confidence, self-motivated, self-starter Neat, clean, professional appearance Integrity, honest, and fairness with self and others High level of self-discipline, motivation, and ability to operate in a team environment High School Diploma or equivalent required 1-3 yrs
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
