Job Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our management team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects, including labor, materials, and equipment costs.
- Utilize Company software to analyze project data and create accurate and detailed estimates.
- Conduct site visits to gather information and take measurements necessary for accurate estimating.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure that estimates align with project goals and objectives.
- Review and analyze project data, including blueprints and architectural drawings, to ensure that estimates are accurate and comprehensive.
- Negotiate with clients, subcontractors and material suppliers to ensure that estimates meet project requirements, budget and schedule constraints.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical estimating, electrical management, or a related field.
- Experience with electrical project scope with project sizes greater than three million dollars.
- Proven experience with Bluebeam software.
- Strong understanding of electrical estimating principles and practices.
- Experience with project management and construction site management.
- Ability to negotiate with clients and subcontractors.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
