Our team values professionalism, accuracy, and efficiency, and we're looking for someone who thrives in a office environment while supporting both estimating and administrative functions. Position Overview The Estimating Assistant will play a key role in supporting daily operations. This position involves assisting with project estimates, coordinating tasks, and ensuring smooth communication between clients, vendors, and the field team. High school diploma needed, College degree is a plus but not necessary. We will train you. Responsibilities Data entry of siding project estimates and proposals preparing basic take-off for projects Communicate with clients, suppliers, and contractors regarding project requirements Maintain accurate records of bids, contracts, and invoices Assist with scheduling, filing, and general office administration Support the estimating team with data entry, research, and follow-up Answer phones and respond to emails in a professional manner Paid Holidays and 1 week of PTO to start. Qualifications Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint) Quickbooks knowledge is a plus Ability to learn estimating software and tools quickly and efficiantly Prior experience in construction, siding, or estimating preferred but not required Construction terminology Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously punctual; 8 am every morning reliable transportation Willing to learn In this position we will train you so being proficient in estimating is not necessary but pervious contraction knowedge will go a long way. This is an entry level position, just be excited about learning and not afraid to ask questions. A good work ethic and a sense of humor will go a long way here. Our office is small but growing fast.
