Type:
full-time Divergent Alliance is seeking an Estimator & Project Manager for mission critical and data center electrical infrastructure projects, based in our Algonquin, Illinois office. This role estimates and manages medium- and high-voltage electrical infrastructure scope including underground duct bank, medium-voltage feeders, terminations, substations and interconnection work.
Pay Range:
$150,000 - $190,000 We offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, paid company holidays, health insurance, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare detailed estimates for electrical infrastructure projects including takeoffs, labor units and equipment pricing
- Review drawings, specifications and scopes of work and develop clarifications and qualifications
- Manage the bid process from prequalification through proposal and award
- Manage awarded projects including schedule, budget, procurement and subcontractors
- Administer submittals, RFIs, change orders and project documentation
- Prepare schedules of values and monthly progress billing
- Maintain accurate cost-to-complete reporting and project forecasting
- Coordinate long-lead equipment procurement and delivery
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, developers, engineers and general contractors
- Manage project profitability from award through closeout
QUALIFICATIONS
- Eight or more years estimating and managing electrical infrastructure or heavy electrical construction projects
- Data center, mission critical or large industrial project experience strongly preferred
- Experience with medium-voltage distribution, duct bank and substation scope
- Proficiency with estimating software and construction management platforms
- Strong understanding of project cost control and change order management
- Union contractor experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred Send resume to hr@divergentalliance.
