About Polynt Composites USA:
Polynt Composites USA is a global leader in the manufacturing of composites, coatings, and chemical intermediates, serving key industries such as industrial, transportation, construction, marine, medical, and consumer goods. Can add a general statement about the position here.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support as necessary for troubleshooting, project development / evaluation, process improvement, and any issue requiring expertise.
- Assist with the site capital process by scoping/implementing capital projects.
- Lead the site quality meeting
- Odd lot formula development and assisting rework management
- Provide statistical data for key products on a site and corporate level, to help determine fitness-for-customer use.
- Act as an advisor to site personnel and business management, related to certain business strategies.
- Coordinate and implement the site scale up process.
- Interface with the R D organization to provide feedback to R D to validate manufacturing capability, and to ensure that the necessary manufacturing requirements are met by R D.
- Ensure new raw material, regulation, HSE, etc. needs are addressed during the new product/process development phase.
- Develop audit schedule and coordinate internal audits
- Follow to conclusion all nonconformance's and opportunities for improvement items.
- Plan and prepare plant for all BSI audits.
- Interact with BSI auditors to plan audits and file all BSI reports
- Maintain the ISO EtoolEducation and Experience
- B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering
- 5 - 10 years experience in a chemical processing environment
- Process troubleshooting skills
- Scale-up of new products from lab scale to production and from one site to another
- Experience in an
ISO 9001
environment
- Experience with quality programs and quality control
- Experience with capital projects a plus
- Strong computer capabilities including Microsoft Excel and Office and SAP
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral, and to interface with multiple levels of the organization
- Self motivated and flexible individual with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to function well in a team environment
