Project Executive
- Healthcare Construction Mortenson Construction paid time off, tuition reimbursement, 401(k), retirement plan United States, Illinois, Itasca 300 Park Boulevard (Show on map) Aug 26, 2026 SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Project Executive I who is responsible for providing overall management for large projects, leading the project team, and ensuring key and successful customer relations, as well as assisting operating groups with winning work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish and maintain successful customer and community relationships Conduct key customer service visits from pre-construction to close-out Preview proposals and participate in Request for Proposal process Act as primary customer contact for assigned projects Support business development initiatives and maintain customer relationships Provide oversight and accountability for large projects Manage contract administration, including terms, change requests, and invoices Maintain project budgets, costs, and pricing for profitable delivery Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management for project teamQUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent field Minimum 10 years' experience in construction overseeing large construction healthcare projects $75 million or larger Proven ability to fulfill development to closeout responsibilities for multiple, complex projects Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices Microsoft Office, project, and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL
