Overview The Sr. Estimator is responsible for handling estimates with minimal supervision from management. This role reports directly to the Estimating Manager and the employee routinely interacts with others in Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Fabrication to develop a fully priced estimates. Responsibilities Sr. Estimator will be authorized to have selected access to previous business unit financial and project data, new pricing, and rates to prepare cost estimates. Sr. Estimator will be responsible to prepare estimates for commercial proposals by working together with engineering, production, procurement, subcontracts, human resources, and operations groups. Remit and responsibilities assigned to Sr. Estimator and his work will be measured through existing Gate Reviews and annual performance reviews. Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex. Qualifications College or University Diploma, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering Typically, 10 years since first degree and 15+ years of relevant experience 5 -10+ years in an Estimating role Professional degree: Required BS in industrial or
