Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team in a service-based capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating electrical projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining effective communication with clients. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical estimating processes, building codes, blueprint reading, and material cost analysis. The ideal candidate will bring construction industry experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office to support project planning and execution. We primarily work directly with customers, offering solutions to their problems, so problem solving and a design build background is a requirement for this role. Most of projects do not have any blue prints or drawings to bid off of. Our clients range from residential to industrial. Duties Prepare detailed electrical estimates for service-based projects by analyzing project specifications, blueprints, and electrical drawings. Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics to determine scope of work and material requirements. Calculate material costs accurately, considering current market prices and supplier quotes. Ensure all estimates comply with relevant electrical building codes and safety standards. Communicate effectively with clients to clarify project requirements, provide updates, and address inquiries throughout the estimation process. Collaborate with project managers, electricians, and suppliers to gather necessary information for accurate cost estimation. Utilize Microsoft Office tools to prepare reports, proposals, and documentation related to estimates. Maintain organized records of all estimates, correspondence, and project documentation for future reference. Experience Proven experience in electrical estimating within the construction or service industry. Strong knowledge of electrical building codes and standards applicable to service-based projects. Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints and schematics. Experience estimating material costs based on current market conditions. Familiarity with the construction industry's workflows, safety protocols, and project management practices. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.

Pay:

$80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
