Job Description
Construction Estimator/Insurance Restoration Estimator Build Projects. Earn Trust. Help Restore Lives. At ACR, Inc., we help homeowners, businesses, and property managers recover from unexpected property damage caused by water, fire, storms, and other disasters. We're looking for an experienced Insurance Restoration Estimator to join our reconstruction team. This position plays a critical role in developing accurate project scopes, preparing detailed estimates, securing reconstruction projects, and ensuring a seamless transition from sales to production. If you enjoy building relationships, solving problems, and helping customers navigate the restoration process, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do Perform on-site inspections for residential and commercial reconstruction projects Develop accurate scopes of work using Xactimate and other estimating software Prepare detailed estimates, proposals, supplements, budgets, and supporting documentation Review project plans, engineering reports, and insurance documentation Negotiate and secure reconstruction projects while maintaining company profit objectives Present estimates and project scopes to homeowners, commercial clients, insurance adjusters, consultants, and property managers Build strong relationships with customers and referral partners throughout the estimating process Identify additional project opportunities during site inspections Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Operations to ensure successful project handoffs Maintain accurate project documentation and timely communication throughout the pre-construction process What We're Looking For Minimum five (5) years of construction estimating or insurance restoration experience Experience writing estimates in Xactimate (Symbility experience is also beneficial) Strong knowledge of residential and commercial construction methods Understanding of insurance restoration practices and building codes Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail Valid Illinois driver's license Construction Management or related education is a plus Why You'll Love This Role Every project presents new challenges and opportunities Help customers rebuild after unexpected property losses Competitive compensation with growth opportunities Collaborative, team-oriented culture Opportunity to make a direct impact on company growth and customer satisfaction Work with an experienced team dedicated to quality and service excellence About ACR, Inc.
