Full-time About ProLink Industrial ProLink Industrial is a specialized talent solution provider delivering elite professionals to major industrial, civil, and energy infrastructure projects. We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator to develop accurate, detailed cost estimates for major industrial and mechanical construction bids. Job Summary The Mechanical Estimator will perform complete quantity take-offs, risk assessments, and cost estimates for complex mechanical construction projects. You will work closely with bid teams, vendors, and project managers to prepare competitive, highly accurate bid submittals. Key Responsibilities Perform full quantity take-offs for mechanical scopes, including industrial piping, dewatering, ventilation, and heavy equipment installation. Analyze bid documents, engineering specifications, structural drawings, and geotechnical data. Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate pricing from equipment suppliers, material vendors, and subcontractors. Utilize estimating software (e.g., HeavyBid/HCSS) to build comprehensive cost models, labor rates, and equipment production estimates. Participate in pre-bid meetings, site walkthroughs, and client proposal presentations. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. 5+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil, industrial, or underground mechanical construction. Proficiency with industry-standard estimating software (HeavyBid, HCSS, or similar) and Primavera P6. Extensive knowledge of mechanical equipment costs, labor productivity rates, and vendor procurement.
