Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced estimator to join our team. Truss design experience would be ideal for this position. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate material estimates for new home, commercial, multi-family and remodel construction projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are accounted for and aligned with client expectations. This role requires strong take off skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of construction processes and project management. Responsibilities Design EWP layout and beam calculations. Estimate materials required for framing, roofing, siding and exterior trim material per customer specs and local building codes. Familiarity with project management tools and techniques is preferred. Operate POS system. positive attitude and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Other duties as assigned. Experience High School Diploma or GED required, related tech degrees helpful. Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices. Familiarity with project management tools and techniques is preferred. Ability to read blueprints and other technical materials Significant math skills, able to manipulate and fabricate Excel formulas. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in cost estimates. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
