Stable General Contractor with a strong pipeline in the Kansas City area Join an established contractor with a full pipeline and continues to win work About Our Client A full-service general contracting firm located on the west side of Kansas City. They focus primarily multifamily and commercial projects, up to $40M in value. Their commitment to employee success is unparalleled, and they are looking for a strong Estimator to grow and develop with their resources and expertise. Job Description Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects. Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine necessary resources. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure alignment on project scope and budget. Source and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to support project needs. Monitor market trends and pricing to provide up-to-date cost data. Assist in preparing project proposals and presentations for stakeholders. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The Successful Applicant A successful Estimator should have: 5+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating Strong experience with ground-up construction projects Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Experience working across commercial sectors (education, municipal, retail, or mixed-use preferred) Proficiency in estimating software and strong Excel capability Strong analytical and communication skills Driven, ambitious mindset with a desire for career progression What's on Offer Competitive annual salary up to $100,000 USD.
