Construction Estimator

Overview We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented In-Office Estimator to prepare accurate estimates for roofing and exterior remodeling projects. This position is primarily Office-based. This role works closely with our sales/field team. The estimator will use the measurements, photos, and job notes provided by our salesperson/field representative to build estimates and material lists. Duties Prepare estimates for roofing and exterior remodeling projects using measurements, photos, and notes provided by the field team Create detailed material takeoffs / material lists for each job (siding, gutters, windows/doors, decks, etc.) Review scope of work and identify missing information needed to complete an accurate estimate Coordinate with the sales/field team and office staff to confirm job details, timelines, and customer requests Maintain organized estimate files and documentation (photos, notes, supplier quotes) Communicate professionally with customers as needed (questions, clarifications, scheduling support) Support continuous improvement of our estimating templates and pricing system Requirements Estimating experience in roofing and/or exterior construction/remodeling preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy with measurements and pricing Comfortable working with spreadsheets and estimating templates (Excel/Google Sheets) Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines Strong communication and customer service skills Reliable, professional, and able to work independently Experience with entering measurements into

Xactimate Pay:

$22.00 - $28.00 per hour
