Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing project specifications, preparing cost estimates, and ensuring that all estimates align with project budgets and timelines. This role requires a strong understanding of construction management principles and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers, contractors, and clients to deliver accurate and competitive bids. Role and Responsibilities Populate quote spread sheet with run times, processing, and material cost. Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Meet all RFQ deadlines. Analyze technical drawings, specifications, 3D models, BOMs, and any other technical information required to manufacture. Collaborate with subject matter experts within the organization to gather input on jobs being estimated. Evaluate and document risks associated with an RFQ or quotation, including internal capability, delivery, material, and outside processing requirements. Communicate with customer to gather information and provide feedback. Attend Department and Company Meetings. Perform all duties in accordance with Dynamic NC Quality Management System and Safety standards, using situation-appropriate tools and protective equipment as applicable. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Education Requirements • Highschool diploma / GED. 1-2 years of previous experience, preferred. Experience with Catia V5, preferred. Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Organized, focused, and results-oriented. Excellent problem solving and prioritizing ability.
