Flooring Estimator / Customer Sales Draffen Floor Coverings is looking for a dependable, personable, and detail-oriented Flooring Estimator / Customer Sales Representative to join our team! This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, has an eye for detail, and is comfortable visiting customers' homes to measure and evaluate flooring projects. You will help customers choose the right materials for their project while also determining the quantities and materials needed to complete the job.

What You'll Do:

Meet with customers in the showroom and discuss their flooring needs Help customers select the appropriate flooring materials based on their lifestyle, preferences, and project requirements Visit customers' homes to measure rooms and evaluate the project Take accurate measurements and determine the quantity of flooring and materials needed Identify details that may affect the installation, such as transitions, stairs, subfloor conditions, layouts, and other job-specific requirements Prepare accurate estimates and quotes Explain product options, pricing, and installation details to customers Follow up with customers regarding estimates and projects Communicate with installers, vendors, and other members of the team Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process Maintain accurate notes and measurements for each project

What We're Looking For:

Friendly, professional, and customer-focused Strong attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable entering customers' homes and interacting with homeowners Good communication and organizational skills Ability to take accurate measurements and perform basic calculations Comfortable using a tape measure and learning flooring measurement techniques Able to work independently and manage multiple projects Basic computer skills Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Previous flooring, construction, sales, estimating, or interior design experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person

Schedule:

Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:30 PM No nights or weekends. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, being out in the field, and helping customers turn their ideas into finished projects. You'll play an important role in making sure customers get the right products and that each job is accurately measured and estimated from the beginning.

Pay:

$14.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
