Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic Estimator/Project Manager to join our team and drive the success of our commercial construction projects. This role combines precise estimating with effective project management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will be energized by challenges, detail-oriented, and possess a strong background in construction industry practices. Responsibilities Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects by reviewing blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets through effective project management practices. Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to secure favorable terms. Oversee cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle, including material cost estimating and change order management. Review construction drawings for accuracy and completeness; interpret technical details to inform estimations. Communicate regularly with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure alignment on project scope and expectations. Qualifications Proven experience managing construction projects as an estimator or project manager within the commercial construction industry. Strong proficiency with estimating. Excellent skills in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and reviewing construction documents. Demonstrated ability in cost management, material cost estimating, and pricing strategies. Effective negotiation skills with vendors and clients to optimize project outcomes. Solid understanding of contracts, project management principles, and construction site operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting. Construction industry experience with a focus on estimation for commercial projects; hands-on construction site experience is advantageous. $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
