Job Description
We are is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Estimator to join our growing team in Lexington, Kentucky. This position plays a key role in preparing competitive bids for site development, utility, roadway, bridge, and infrastructure projects throughout the region.
Experience with earthwork, utilities, roadwork, site development, or bridge projects.
Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and cost analysis.
Ability to manage multiple bids and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
Review plans, specifications, and contract documentsPerform quantity takeoffs and develop cost estimatesSolicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier pricingPrepare bid proposals and support bid submissionsCollaborate with project management and operations teams on project strategyAnalyze project risks, opportunities, and production costs.Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of estimating experience in heavy civil construction.Experience with earthwork, utilities, roadwork, site development, or bridge projects.
Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and cost analysis.
Ability to manage multiple bids and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
