Job Description Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects. Analyze project specifications and requirements to determine material and labor costs. Collaborate with project managers and contractors to gather necessary information. Maintain accurate records of estimates, budgets, and project documentation. Review and update cost estimates as project requirements evolve. Support the procurement team in sourcing materials and negotiating pricing. Contribute to the preparation of bid proposals and tender documents. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards. The Successful Applicant A successful Junior Estimator should have: A strong understanding of property and construction fundamentals. Excellent numerical and analytical skills to assess costs accurately. Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as Microsoft Excel or estimating software. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
