Estimator

Our client, an aerospace company in Southwick, MA is looking to bring on an Estimator on a direct hire/permanent basis for a Mon-Fri traditional office hours position. The Estimator's responsibilities include analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for parts The person will also be responsible for creating and maintaining manufacturing routings and Bills of Materials for production of Aerospace components. Responsible for acknowledging Request for Quotes (RFQ's), reviewing and interpreting technical data Gathering info and quotes from vendors Preparing complete quote packages for approval and review Additional duties will be assigned based upon the needs of the business Experience Experience in estimating in the aerospace sector required Effective written and oral communication skills with established interpersonal skills Ability to manage time appropriately to meet deadlines Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities Ability to read and interpret customer Blueprints, Specifications and Manufacturing Processes Well organized, self-directed Familiar with machine capabilities and related processes If you are looking for a new Estimator opportunity in the aerospace sector working for an industry leader in Southwick, MA, please call JMT Staffing Solutions at 781-558-2589 or apply to this ad today and a staffing manager will be back in touch with more details.
