We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.   • [Southwick] About the role As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.
You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.
Key duties include:
Supporting customers at the medicines counter and responding to queries Assisting with the preparation and supply of prescriptions (under supervision) Handling stock, deliveries and maintaining accurate records Using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality Working as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service What we're looking for: A genuine interest in healthcare and working with people Strong communication and customer service skills Good attention to detail and willingness to learn Ability to work well in a fast‑paced environment Reliable, punctual and professional Basic IT skills No previous pharmacy experience is required full training is provided Apprenticeship details:
