Job Description

Estimator Civil Excavation & Utilities | MetroWest Boston We are a growing excavation and sitework contractor building disciplined systems to scale. We work for top 400 ENR contractors in the Boston Metro Area. Recent contracts include the South Station Tower project, Terminal E at Logan Airport, Boston College Archives, Newton East and Voute Hall, BU Warren Towers, among many others.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform Quantity takeoffs from civil, structural, landscaping, electrical and plumbing plans. Review Specifications and Geotechnical reports. Develop labor, equipment, material, trucking, subcontractor and disposal costs. Prepare bid proposal and scope sheets. Who You Are Must have excavation, earthwork, underground utility, earth support and site development knowledge. Experience estimating multi-million dollar excavation and site packages.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience estimating excavation and site development packages in urban environments.
  • Experience with Timberline/Sage 300 CRE, Procore, on-screen take-off, agtek, CLI and excel and word.
Compensation:
  • Position is classified as full-time, salaried, and exempt under applicable wage and hour laws.
  • $100,000
  • $175,000 annual salary (commensurate with experience).
  • Discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance metrics .
  • Health and 401(k) benefits offered.
  • Employment is at-will in accordance with Massachusetts law.
