Full Job Description Job Requirements:
Valid Driver's License Degree in Civil or Construction Engineering OSHA 10 preferred but will certify, if necessary, upon hire Experience of 3-5 years We are currently looking for an experienced construction estimator who will prepare, estimate and analyze all costs of construction projects, including the time, materials, labor, and budget. Key Responsibilities Research and gather information: Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints Visit construction sites: Learn about the project and obtain client requirements Evaluate offers: Compare bids from suppliers and contractors Prepare estimates: Calculate the cost of materials, labor, and time Create proposals: Write up budgets, reports, and project plans Collaborate with others: Work with architects, project managers, engineers, and contractors Identify cost-saving opportunities: Find ways to reduce project costs Manage documentation: Maintain files of working documents, including price lists and sales brochures Follow up with clients: Provide updates on budgets and proposals Skills Proficiency in critical thinking and problem solving, Ability to focus on details, Excellent Construction Estimator Qualifications/Skills Procore Experience (Preferred) Pass Pre-employment background check Attention to detail Skilled proficiency in critical thinking and problem solving Excellent quantitative skills- Excellent communication skills Excellent time management skills.
