Estimator Responsibilities:

Prepare clear, detailed estimates for commercial construction projects Review drawings, specifications, and documents to develop accurate scopes Identify potential risks, value engineering options, and budget alignment opportunities Solicit and analyze subcontractor/vendor bids Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and design partners Participate in hand-off meetings to ensure a smooth transition into construction Maintain cost history and help refine internal pricing strategies

Estimator Requirements:

3+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction. Proficiency with estimating software and digital takeoff tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Sage, or similar). Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and market pricing. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to juggle multiple deadlines with precision and clarity. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, not required. #
