Full Job Description Kelly Tractor CAT Position:
IMT Crane and Foundation Division Sales Representative Compensation:
Base Pay $ 100,000+ per year depending on qualifications of selected individual Draw against commission $35,000 per year based on standard IMT commission structure Business Miles reimbursement Reimbursement for all business expenses All benefits as offered by the standard KTC benefits package Kelly Tractor Co.
Crane & Foundation Division IMT Northeast USA Sales Representative Compensation:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Primary Duties:
  • Reports to the KTC IMT/Link Belt Vice President
  • Primary territorial responsibilities for Northeastern USA (including the States of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Maine, Maryland, Delaware and Rhode Island.
  • Sales/Rental of IMT/Link Belt inventory machines
  • Handle all machine deal paperwork
  • quotes, sales/rental contracts, Notice to Owner, insurance documentation, etc. as required
  • Coordinate with Credit Department for proper credit assignment for all sales/rental deals
  • Coordinate with Service Group for proper machine movement records (EMR's)
  • Assist with Caterpillar Dealer relationships within assigned territory
  • Use of Kelly Tractor Co's D365 system by keeping up to date all business relation and customer contacts.
  • Travel within assigned territory as needed to visit customers/prospects
  • Assist in breakdown and assembly of machines on customer jobsites
  • Assist in planning, setting up, tearing down and staffing trade shows
  • Assist in gathering industry data and statistics
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Selected employee must reside in the respective territory. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or
Experience:
College graduate (4 year) or equivalent years of professional experience Minimum of 3-5 years direct sales environment
  • construction equipment sales preferred with hydraulic drill rig or crane experience a plus Experience and working knowledge of heavy construction equipment operation and maintenance Construction equipment dealer experience is a plus Working knowledge of Foundation or Geotechnical Contractors a benefit but not required.
Language Skills:
Bilingual (Spanish-English) is a plus but not required. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers/prospects as well as groups of managers and salesmen.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability plan and work with departmental budgets
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite environment (Word, Outlook, and Excel). Applicant will be expected to learn Kelly Tractor Co's D365
  • Equipment Availability and CRM software.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat and cold. The noise level in the work environment can be very loud and is typical of any heavy construction jobsite.
