(919) 850-9600 Our client is looking for a Lead Estimator to join their team in Baltimore, MD. This general contractor is growing, and this person will take ownership of budgets and estimates from early concept through final pricing, working closely with preconstruction and operations. You will focus on multifamily and tenant improvement work and have real influence on how projects take shape before construction begins.

Responsibilities:

• Lead estimates, negotiated budgets, and competitive bids from start to finish
• Review drawings, specifications, and existing conditions to understand scope and flag risks, gaps, and changes early
• Develop subcontractor and vendor scopes, then solicit, analyze, and level bids
• Perform and validate material takeoffs using historical cost data and unit pricing
• Partner with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors throughout the estimating process
• Support operations through buyout for a smooth handoff from estimate to construction Job Requirements
• 3 to 5+ years of estimating experience with a general contractor
• Multifamily projects in the $15M to $20M+ range and corporate interior tenant improvement projects around $10M
• Hands-on experience leveling subcontractor pricing and building trade partner relationships
• Strong ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documents
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, and BuildingConnected
• Stable work history with solid tenure at prior employers
