Responsibilities Review construction drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to accurately estimate material requirements and labor costs. Utilize estimating software such as CAD, Right-Suite and other construction management tools to develop detailed project bids. Analyze project scopes, specifications, and contract documents to prepare comprehensive cost estimates. Manage multiple projects simultaneously by tracking budgets, costs, and schedules to ensure timely completion within budget constraints. Engage in negotiation with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure favorable pricing and terms. Prepare detailed spreadsheets for cost analysis, material quantities, and project budgets using Microsoft Office tools. Communicate effectively with clients to clarify project needs, present estimates, and support sales initiatives. Requirements Proven experience managing projects as a construction estimator within the commercial construction industry. Strong proficiency with estimating software such as CAD, Right-Suite and construction management platforms. Excellent blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately. Demonstrated expertise in cost management, material cost estimating, and pricing strategies. Solid understanding of construction site operations, contracts, and construction industry standards. Ability to negotiate effectively with clients and suppliers while maintaining professional relationships. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel spreadsheets for detailed analysis and reporting. Construction site experience coupled with knowledge of construction management processes is highly desirable. $41,600.00 - $58,240.00 per year
